Alberta College of Art & Design
THE CLIENT
The Alberta College of Art & Design [ACAD] is one of only four degree-granting, publicly-funded Art & Design colleges in Canada. ACAD provides accredited degree-standard education and learning opportunities to more than 1000 students enrolled in full- and part-time studies in a wide range of Art & Design studio disciplines together with academic study in the history of Art & Design, theory and criticism and related subject areas. Additionally, approximately 1500 students are registered each year in Continuing Education courses, including 700 in children's programs.
THE CHALLENGE
ACAD's website was re-designed by TARA Corporation Inc. in the Fall of 2002 and since has attracted more than 2 million visitors. This has prompted an increased level of interest from the public, and College alumni for current information. ACAD wanted a way of disseminating information as quickly and efficiently as possible to increase the number of return visitors to their website.
THE SOLUTION
ACAD is using Digital-Flyer.com for alumni communication, fundraising and keeping the North American art community up to date on what's going on at the College. By using Digital-Flyer.com they create e-mail newsletters that readers quickly recognize and respond to.
THE RESULT
ACAD gets instant and measurable results using Digital-Flyer.com's comprehensive reporting on each campaign they send out. Digital-Flyer.com is helping ACAD attract the brightest new students in the world to embark on new Academic paths, keeping College alumni in-tune and informed, and most importantly keeping their fund development programs highly visible.
